BBAF Angel 2nd Quarter 2010

Simply faBOWlous® is proud to be an Angel Sponsor of the Bailey Baio Angel Foundation® (BBAF), started by Scott & Renee Baio.

Each Quarter 2 special children with a metabolic disorder are chosen to be the foundation's Angel.

Angel for 2nd Quarter 2010
The 1st Angel for this Quarter is Rebecca. Rebecca was one of the lucky ones whose family received an expanded newborn screen. With this screening, the family was able to get early intervention for a diagnosis of MCAD.

Thankfully Rebecca has had few hospital visits and is able to control her diagnosis through diet and antibiotics, but Karen, Rebecca's mom, is always prepared to run out the door at a moments notice if Rebecca becomes ill.

Karen has "met some wonderful moms" through the Bailey Baio Angel Foundation. And, she continues to "form a very close-knit group of friends" that she can bounce ideas off of and even share some laughs with.
